El Dorado Mexican Restaurant in Corbin

Food here was very good! Looking for a quick lunch while traveling and this was right off the interstate. We were in and out and there was even a magician for the kids and guacamole prepared table side if you want it. Highly recommend!

Bad experience! We got lemonade and it tasted like soap was in the glass. The chips were cooked in old grease and the service was slow. It was to the point I was ready to walk out.

Located in a smaller City off of the interstate, this place was a pleasant surprise. Lovely furnishings, very helpful and pleasant staff. The real key was the great food. My wife got a veggie fajita platter with more food than she could finish. I tried the enchiladas mole and it was the best I have had in a restaurant. They make your guacamole to order at your table too! Finally, if you are a teacher, veteran or senior, you get a 10% discount. Next time I am in Corbin, I'll be visiting. Don't need KFC!

Food was so good and way to much for 1 person(which I love) and our waitress was awesome go and try it you won't be disappointed wish they were closer to were I live

I like the authenticity of the food and selection was great..but the girl that makes guacamole gets a 5 tip from u plus they charge 6 dollars other than that good place

The staff here is absolutely disrespectful. The menus show different to what you order. My fiance ordered a meal that was nothing what she expected. The waitress explained it happens all the time and it's nothing new. Refused to do anything about it. I ordered the Chef Special and they charged me extra for the side it was suppose to come with. To top it off my fiance asked for guacamole and after eating a few bites noticed a hair in it and informed the the waitress and she got an attitude with my fiance. They all laughed and basically made a joke out of it while making my fiance feel degraded. I wouldn't eat here again if my life depended on it. Also i asked to speak to a manager and no surprise they didn't have one available. This place is awful!!!!!!

The food really was great, but a number of staff were not wearing PPE and wow some people at our table reserved quickly the rest waited for quite a few minutes after that. But again once it arrived it was quite good and I had no complaints about the food itself. (Especially in an area with mostly chain restaurants)

The food was awesome, as well as the service! Great place to stop if you're in the mood for some good Mexican food!We got super nachos that were some of the best nachos I've had. The chicken fajita quesadilla was huge! I think it might be my new favorite.

I went with the staffs recommendation corbin & london special steak strips, a grilled beef steak cooked, mushroom and covered with cheese sauce. Served with rice, refried beans, flour tortillas and substituted the beans for fried pineapples, Amazing! The staff friendly and the inside deco took me to Mexico. $$

The service is top notch and the food is delicious. They are quick and the price is fair.

Delicious, well-prepared, and authentic. This place is a hidden treasure for Corbin, Kentucky. I hope to revisit this Mexican restaurant again soon!

Third time we've eaten here while passing through the area. It has always been clean. We have always received good service and excellent food.

Awesome service from a younger person most younger people don't care about excellent service but she was very respectful and was caring. And food was awesome

Good food. The guacamole cart seems a bit shady. When you ask for steak you get beef even though it wasn't an option for your entree.

I ordered food with beans, rice, and ground beef, nothing where onions are an essential aspect of the recipe and I asked for it WITHOUT onions because I am allergic to onion juice. I even said, please be sure not to include them because of this allergy. Food came loaded with onions. Don't eat here if you have allergy requirements. They don't care.

This place is our go to for Mexican cuisine in the area. I have never had a negative experience at this resteraunt and we have been several times. We will continue to come back. Thanks for the great food and flawless customer service. You have earned yourself lifetime customers.

The food was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing. I loved the cactus, having never eaten it before.

Eaten here several times. The service is hit or miss. Last time I dined in our server was very friendly and efficient. My most recent order was called in for pickup and the person on the phone seemed very confused. I had to repeat myself and correct her several times and tell her what the dish came with because she didn’t know. The food itself is usually decent but nothing special. A word of caution about the enchiladas with “special” sauce: don’t order expecting a standard red sauce, because it tastes like KC Masterpiece barbecue. Overall, an average dining experience.

Great food and service. Will definitely be back sometime in the future! Wonderful atmosphere and the food was on point. Highly recommend if in Corbin or London area.

The pictures on the menu are different then what you order. I had hair in my food, and then the waitress was rude and calling me a liar about it when the woman who came to check on us before hand, clearly saw her self the hair. Then I tried to speak with the manager about such bad service and of course there wa not even one there I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE!!

Good food goid place to eat and clean

Bartender/waitress VERY nice and knowledgeable. I tried their margaritas both ways they prepare them. She was right. The margaritas prepared with Agave were much better. Food was good, too. Highly recommended.

We were here yesterday. The food was okay, a little bit overcooked but eatable. The server was stunning, I didn't catch his name but definitely friendly staff.

Food was amazing. Portions were large. Inexpensive. Staff are fabulous. Try taco night! Ambiance is authentic.

The sweet tea was perfect. Most are too sweet for my taste. The salsa tastes like tomato paste. Husband and I both ordered fajitas. Mine was very bland. Was ok after I added salt and hot sauce which I normally never do when eating Mexican food.My fajita meat,peppers and onions weren't hot and were swimming in cooking oil.

Food was Great, Service was Fàst , & everyone is very friendly. There wasn't no big crowd in there & that was fine with me but I encourage you to stop by & try this place.

Food was delicious and hands down best 5 star service ever, they even brought a cart over and made fresh guacamole in front of us for our table!

Really great atmosphere. The building is fantastic with decorations and the space is very open. High ceilings and lots of seating space with the bar separate for people going with families and children. The food is fantastic. Great taste and flavor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

It was so good! We had just got done with a 3+ mile hike and came to eat and relax before we went to check the next place out. Service was friendly and fantastic. Food came out hot and flavorful ! 😋 Wished we could have gotten more queso but honestly it was probably enough once we finished eating. Would definitely stop in again if we're seeing Cumberland Falls.

The best Mexican food around! Great staff, very friendly and fast. The food comes out fresh and hot, and very fast. Nice atmosphere too. Great place for a family (they have a kid's menu) or just a cozy meal for two. You never have to wait long for your food, which is so different from most restaurants in the area. The servers are always there when you need them, but not intrusive at all. It's a great place to go for a date, to just take your time talking and get to know someone. They are not open for breakfast, they open at lunchtime and begin serving dinner around 4:00pm. In addition to table seating, they also have a bar for those who just want a quick bite and a drink or two. Even though they serve alcohol, I have never seen anyone outright drunk there. They do a good job of gently telling people when they've had enough and need to go home for the evening. I absolutely love this place!

They make their guacamole fresh at your table to your specific taste. The staff was so nice. The motif was fun.

My first time in Corbin, KY last Sept 2015. This was the first restaurant that we decide to dine at. The place, staff and food was exceptionally amazing. If you passing through or staying here. Please stop here. You won't go wrong. Order the Jalisco and margaritas.

Food was pretty middle of the road. Our server was very nice. I am not a refried bean guy so I asked for no refried beans but that didn’t happen. They were also out of ice cream. Overall it’s ok food at an ok to little high price. Probably won’t go back if I’m in the area.

The food was all frozen and then reheated and tasted horrible i could not eat it
